WIDOWS’LOVE WORLD OUTREACH is a Non- Denominational Help Ministry established to visit widows and their households in their affliction (James. 1:27)
It was founded on the 25 th January, 2002. A Board of five Trustees guides the affairs of the Ministry. The Headquarters of the Ministry is at #7 Ejoh-close, Amadi Flats, Port Harcourt.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
The goals/objectives of the ministry are:
- To preach the Gospel to widows and their households
- To give financial and material support to widows
- To help widows out of emotional and psychological crisis/affliction.
- To diligently pursue the path of truth, justice, honour and integrity
MODE OF OPERATION
- Concerned children of God gather to intercede for the widows and their households and for the success of the Ministry.
- To have a wider coverage, the message of God’s love and care is aired weekly via radio broadcasts.
- Trained counselors are always available at the Ministry.
- The ministry has a strong visitation arm to monitor, encourage and oversee those being cared for; progress of widows and their households is regularly assessed.
- Registered widows that need urgent attention are referred to the President of the Ministry.
- A party is organized quarterly for widows’ children where the gospel of Christ is preached.
- The office of the ministry opens from 8am to 5pm. The secretary is always available to receive donations and provide assistance.
TENETS OF THE MINISTRY
WIDOWS’LOVE WORLD, believes in the totality of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ with special emphasis on caring for widows in distress (James 1:27)
